Collects, processes and publishes
The structure integrates weather sensors, a local server, an HD camera, dedicated storage and automated publishing to external platforms.
Objective
Provide local weather observation with clear presentation, visual history, charts and data sharing through specialized services.

Operational structure

Overview of the technical flow from collection to display on the website.

Project overview

The station uses an Ambient Weather WS-2902 to capture temperature, wind, humidity, rain and other meteorological parameters. The data is sent over the network to online services and is also used locally to feed this website.

At the same time, a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B acts as a local server to process, organize and present the information, generate charts, automate routines and integrate image capture from the Foscam FI-9805W camera.

The environment also has dedicated storage on a D-Link DNS-320L server, responsible for keeping images and videos generated during the day, including time-lapses produced on scheduled times.

All automation was developed on Linux and Python, with support from AI tools to help create routines, always under our supervision, review and final validation.

Technical flow

1. Local collection The weather station records atmospheric variables and sends readings to the cloud and local environment.
2. Processing The Raspberry Pi organizes data, converts measurements, classifies conditions and prepares the website display.
3. Visual capture The Foscam camera records images at scheduled intervals and helps generate periodic time-lapses.
4. Storage Images and videos are kept on a dedicated server for history, organization and future consultation.
5. Publishing The data is also shared with external platforms specialized in weather monitoring.
